First impressions of Skate.

Well… I got to play it last night and my predictions were correct. Gameplay-wise it felt pretty satisfying but the always-online thing frankly sucks. The main thing I looked forward to when it was announced for the PC was mods which now seems unlikely.
For some reason I was also locked to a resolution of what I assume was 480, on a 1440p monitor, leaving everything blurry and extra challenging.
And yes my sickness’s progression has unfortunately hindered me from shreddin’ the gnar. While there's definitely some rustiness —I haven't played a skate game in perhaps over 10 years. I have really gotten “fat fingered” over time and my reaction-time is God awful.
I absolutely hated being surrounded by other players, I felt super-judged while playing and absolutely sucking.
Please make an offline mode!
Despite my frustrations I'll continue giving it a shot and hopefully I'll improve some.
